On Campus AccommodationAt CSU you'll feel right at home with a range of affordable accommodation alternatives available to suit your lifestyle and budget, including catered, semi-catered and self-catered residences.

Living on campus means living in a specially designed and managed residence on the campus where you study. When you live in one of our University residences, you'll have all the convenience of living close to teaching facilities, with the community spirit of a small village - allowing you to take full advantage of campus life and a vibrant student social scene.

  • Approximately half of the beds available on each campus are allocated to first-year students
  • Self-catered accommodation has a shared kitchen, while catered residences have kitchenettes with kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave.
  • Meals are available on campus in a central dining room for students choosing catered accommodation
  • Semi-catered permits a student to stay in a self catered residence but provides the flexibility to use a number of meal tickets (4 tickets per week) at any meal service provided in the central dining room.
  • Common rooms include lounge chairs and a television, and some are connected to pay-TV
  • Washing machines, dryers and clotheslines are available in every residence
  • A security service operates on all campuses, except Dubbo, to ensure the safety of students, staff and property.

Please note: on campus accommodation is not available to families. To find out more about off campus accommodation, visit: www.csu.edu.au/oncampus/accommodation/off-campus
