Orange AccommodationCharles Sturt University in Orange offers affordable on campus accommodation, with over 250 rooms. Choose from self catered and semi-catered options.

Each residence has a fully furnished single study bedroom, a common room with TV, kitchen (with food cupboards, toaster and kettle) and shared bathroom facilities. All bedrooms have data and phone connections, and each building is heated.

Self Catered

If you are staying in self catered accommodation you will need to supply such things as cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

  • Spring Creek Village - 5 two-storey air-conditioned buildings of 20 bedrooms in each building with limited ensuite rooms available
  • 4 bedroom house - 3 houses, generally reserved for mature age students or postgraduate students

Semi Catered

If you are staying in semi catered accommodation, your accommodation fees include a meal plan that covers up to four meals per teaching week.

With this flexible plan, you can use all your meals at once (with the option to purchase more if you need to) or you can spread the meals out over the entire session. Eligibility for meals under this plan extend only until the end of session. Meals which remain unclaimed at end of session are forfeited.

  • Traditional Residences (Peters, Napier, Bartlett, Chudleigh, Eltis) - 23-25 bedroom 2 storey double brick accommodation with common rooms, kitchens and bathrooms on both floors
  • Cottages (Grevillea, Banksia, Lambertia, Hakea) - 2 storey 9 bedroom cottages with ceiling fans in each bedroom

IMPORTANT NOTE: Prices and packages listed are 2013 fees and will be subject to change in 2014.

On campus accommodation at Orange offers two different packages of stay for the year:

  • Package One: Access to your room in Session 1 & Session 2 excluding non-class periods (24 February - 2 November)
  • Package Two: Access to your room in Session 1 & Session 2 including non-class periods (24 February - 30 November)
