Orange AccommodationCharles Sturt University in Orange offers affordable campus accommodation with a choice of catered or non-catered packages.

Each residence has a fully furnished single study bedroom, a common room with TV, kitchen (with food cupboards, toaster and kettle) and shared bathroom facilities. All bedrooms have data and phone connections, and each building is heated.

Self Catered

If you are staying in self catered accommodation you will need to supply such things as cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Cheers 3 and 5 Meal Plans can be purchased with all Orange Self Catered packages when you accept your accommodation offer.

  • Spring Creek Village - 5 two-storey air-conditioned buildings of 20 bedrooms in each building with limited ensuite rooms available
  • Narrambla Undergraduate - Ensuited rooms with individual heating and cooling controls and a central kitchen.
  • Narrambla Postgraduate – Ensuited rooms with individual heating and cooling and a kitchenette in each room. This is a no noise zone normally reserved for postgraduate and mature age students.

Catered

All Orange Catered packages include the ‘Cheers 5’ Meal Plan in the total cost with the option to upgrade to the ‘Cheers Silver’ Meal Plan for extra convenience. See the Meal Plans page for more information on catered inclusions

  • Traditional Residences (Peters, Napier, Bartlett, Chudleigh, Eltis) - 23-25 bedroom 2 storey double brick accommodation with common rooms, kitchens and bathrooms on both floors
  • Cottages (Grevillea, Banksia, Lambertia, Hakea) - 2 storey 9 bedroom cottages with ceiling fans in each bedroom

2014 Orange Residences Fees

2014 Accommodation Packages commence on Friday 28 February 2014 and terminate on Saturday 8 November 2014

For New Residents attending Orientation Week, Accommodation Packages commence on Saturday 22 February 2014. Check In details will be provided to you upon acceptance of your offer.

Residents have the choice of 2 different packages:

  • Package One: Access to your room in Session 1 & Session 2 excluding non-class periods
  • Package Two: Access to your room in Session 1 & Session 2 including non-class periods
