Eligibility

Principal's Report Entry Program (PREP) is a competitive early entry scheme for:
  • Year 12 students (and certain TAFE students) who are identified by their School Principal or TAFE Head Teachers as a consistent achiever with the potential to succeed in University studies
  • students who attend a High School in NSW, Victoria and the ACT
  • students who are applying to commence a CSU degree in Session 1 (February / March)
  • PREP is also available to TAFE students in NSW,  ACT, and non-metropolitan Victoria, who are completing the Tertiary Preparation Course and to students who are currently in High School and taking TAFE subjects as part of their studies that may make them ineligible for an ATAR.

Selection is competitive and is based on the Principal's assessment of the student's performance and potential to succeed at full-time on campus study.

To be guaranteed a UAC offer under PREP in the Early Round (early December), a student must have their nominated course as their first UAC preference.

Students who are currently enrolled in the Diploma of General Studies or students who attend schools or TAFE's located in the postcode areas below are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for PREP:

  • Melbourne 3000 - 3023, 3141 - 3155, 3178 - 3196, 3025 - 3113, 3161 - 3163, 3202 - 3207, 3121 - 3135, 3165 - 3174, 3800
