How to apply

Instructions for Students

• You should complete Sections 2 to 6 of the PREP Application Form.
• If your course has additional admission requirements (supplementary application form; questionnaire, essay, etc), please complete and include the required forms with your PREP application (NOTE: information on additional admission requirements is on the Online Course Brochure for your course)
• For this application to be valid you must be an Australian Citizen and must have an application with UAC, which includes a preference for the course nominated in the following application.
• Completed application should be forwarded to the School Principal/TAFE nominee to complete Section 7 to10.
• Your application needs to be sent to CSU by your school and should not be sent direct by you.
• You can lodge a maximum of 2 applications. Each application must be full and complete including all necessary supporting documents indicated above and below.

Instructions for Schools

• Principal or nominee to attach a copy of NSW Trial HSC or Victorian SAT/SAC report, TAFE transcript/s (or mid-year assessment report). Application cannot be processed without these attachments.
• Applications should be sent full and complete to CSU.
• HOWEVER, if you cannot provide full and complete applications by the closing date, please contact the PREP Coordinator by email on uac@csu.edu.au requesting an extension. You will be advised by email of your extended date.
• If Career Advisers wish to be notified of the results of your school’s applications, you must provide contact details including email address, at section 9.

What if I'm from Victoria?

Victorian applicants who wish to apply for PREP must apply through UAC. Interstate Year 12 students may apply at www.uac.edu.au at a cost of $23.00 or you can call UAC on 02 9752 0200. UAC Guides have been sent to all Victorian schools.
