Elite Athlete Friendly University

An Elite Athlete Friendly University

Charles Sturt University is dedicated to supporting elite athletes in their quest for academic success.

CSU is recognised by the  Australian Sports Commission, the Australian Institute of Sport and the New South Wales Institute of Sport as a member of the Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) network. This recognition is a component of the national Athlete Career and Education (ACE) program.

The Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) network has been established to identify and promote universities who have responded to the specific needs of elite student athletes by developing new, or promoting existing policies and practices that assist elite student athletes to undertake sporting opportunities while pursuing and achieving academic studies.

Defining 'elite athletes'
