Special requirements

Some courses offered by the University have special requirements, such as uniforms and equipment, and health checks which are necessary while on clinical placement or during session time.

At times, in some courses, students will be required to undertake special or additional preparation or adhere for specific requirements in order to undertake the course and/or be placed in clinical healthcare settings.

In some instances, uniforms may be a requirement of a particular course. Selected courses from the Faculty of Science such as degrees in nursing, paramedics, podiatry, physiotherapy, radiography and veterinary science require students to wear uniforms during clinical placement. This information is provided to students after commencement of their studies.

Check the online course information for further details about any additional requirements that might apply to your course of interest.
