CSU Research Output (CRO) - an electronic repository storing and showcasing the research publications of Charles Sturt University. CRO exists in an online, open-access environment, making it easy for researchers all over the world to find and access the University's published research output.

CSU Storage

What is this service?

DIT provide staff with access to reliable centrally managed locations for storing and sharing files. The P and S drives provide safe and secure network file storage and can be easily accessed from Windows based computers

Additional research storage

Dedicated storage is available to researchers at CSU through DIT’s storage offerings. Requests of storage of up to 500 GB can be made against a pool of storage available for research activities. This storage would be accessed via standard a S: drive mapping, or through the CSU Interact Projects collaboration environment. Researchers with more demanding data storage needs are encouraged to discuss with DIT their requirements to help identify and formulate appropriate research storage solutions.

Remote Storage

What is this service?

A Remote Disc Service allows you to store you data on a remote disc over the Internet. These discs can be accessed in various ways either though your Browser or through software on your Desktop Computer or Portable Device.

Who can access this service?

These services are usually free for limited disc space and then through a pay/per byte arrangement.

What tools can I use to access these Services?

Windows Webdrive A connection tool that allows you to mount remote discs locally and see them through Explorer. If you have a login to ARCS Datafabric
Linux davFS A set of libraries that allows you to mount remote drives locally and see them through Nautilus or some other File Manager.
