Human Research Ethics Committee:
Where Research Involves Participants Undertaking Exercise or other Physical Exertion
The HREC would typically expect that potential participants should obtain some sort of medical clearance before participating.
If one or more of the CSU researchers is qualified to make the relevant sort of assessment, this should be included on the approval form.
If not, details of how an appropriate medical clearance will be obtained should be included on the application form.
