Maximising water capture and use in a no-till controllled traffic system

Date :  Wednesday, 8 July 2009
Time :  12.00pm - 2.00pm
Venue : NSW DPI Conference Room, Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute

This seminar will be presented by representatives of FarmLink and CSIRO on their new Water Use Efficiency GRDC-funded project which aims to maximise water capture and use in a no-till controllled traffic system, incorporating the impacts of lucerne removal, stubble management and grazing. Experiments are investigating the impact of grazing winter crops and stubbles with late stubble management on water capture, storage and crop yield in successive crops.
