The Grassland Society of NSW Conference - waging war on weeds
The Graham Centre is the corporate ponsor of the 2006 Grassland Society of NSW Conference to be held from the 25 - 27th of July at Charles Sturt University. The theme of the conference is ‘waging war on weeds - battle plans and winning strategies'. Presentations will be given by weeds officers, agricultural scientists and farmers and cover a diverse range of topics. Topics include information on latest weed threats, herbicide tolerance, case studies on the control of serrated tussock and coolati grass, biocontrol agents and the economic costs and management principles of weed control, such as fodder conservation and grazing management.
