Director announces new round of member Travel Grants
Graham Centre Director, Deirdre Lemerle, is pleased to announce that 2008 funding is now available to assist Graham Centre participants (including students) to attend national and international conferences during 2008 and/or to develop or particate in significant national and international research projects which are closely linked with the Centre's objectives and research priorities.
The aim of the Centre's travel grants scheme is to develop national and international links and to elevate the profile of the Centre. Applications are required to meet strict criteria which includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- Proposed travel must be aligned to Centre objectives;
- Applicants must demonstrate clearly defined aims and expected outcomes;
- Successful applicants are required to submit a detailed report to the Centre Director within one month following travel;
- Matching funds provided from another funding source will strengthen application;
- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format and must include additional supporting documentation.
