Joshua D. Klein is a scientist in the Division of Plant Sciences of the Volcani Center at the Israel Ministry of Agriculture. Josh is currently on sabbatical at CSIRO, Canberra. He received his education in the US (Cornell, Pennsylvania State and Michigan State universities), then worked in postharvest physiology for three years in New Zealand, before moving to Israel in 1986. His research interests include alleviating abiotic stresses in seedlings, regulating flowering and cropping in fruit trees and developing methods for observing Biblical laws of agriculture in a modern agricultural setting.
