Career Brief
Mr Lievaart completed a BSc degree at Professional Agricultural University, Dronten, The Netherlands, before undertaking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht, The Netherlands.
On receipt of the DVM Mr Lievaart worked as a practising veterinarian in a dairy cattle practice, before joining the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University, as a lecturer in the ambulatory clinic of the farm animal health department. At this time Mr Lievaart commenced PhD studies at Utrecht University, investigating models to predict the somatic cell count in dairy herds. Simultaneously he undertook, and has since completed, a MSc. Veterinary Epidemiology/Statistics 2006, at Utrecht University.
Mr Lievaart joined the staff of CSU's School of Animal and Veterinary Science in 2007.
