Career Brief

Dr Wu graduated in BSc from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University before undertaking MSc studies and lecturing in farming systems and weed science. He completed his MSc at Wageningen University, The Netherlands in 1996, before commencing PhD studies at Charles Sturt University (1999).

Dr Wu then worked as a postdoctoral fellow on genetic markers of wheat allelopathy at CSU before joining Queensland Department of Primary Industries and Forestry to work on integrated weed management of summer weeds with QDPI&F between 2003-2005.

Dr Wu joined NSW Department of Primary Industries in 2006 and is currently leading the Weeds Research Team at Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute.
