Project

Applying HACCP-based quality risk management on dairy farms

Summary

The aims of this thesis are to examine the value of the HACCP-methodology to monitor and control herd health & productivity parameters on dairy farms and to improve cost-effectiveness of on-farm HACCP-based quality risk management advisory programmes. The results will support the shift in farm management from curative towards disease prevention and underpin the role of the bovine veterinarians in the development and execution of quality risk management programmes on dairy farms.
