Wendy, whose research interests are in social work and welfare, rural and disability issues, and ethics, is currently involved in several research projects including:

Wendy's recent research projects include rural consultations developing a model for integrated health and welfare service delivery in a small rural location, and mapping disability clients and services in the Riverina/Murray area with Department of Community Services.

Wendy is chairperson of the Bland Shire Access Committee, member of the IDEAS Management Committee and has served a full term as member of the National Ethics Committee of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
