Allison's role is Team Leader Strategic Skills for Tocal College.
She is responsible for the coordination of SMARTtrain Chemical Safety and risk management courses and resources across Australia. Where possible I assist other internal programs on viticulture related projects. I lead the Aboriginal Rural Training Program and its activities including Certificate II in Agriculture, Rural Operations and Conservation and Land Management qualifications to rural and remote communities, Local Land Service and Office of Environment and Heritage groups. This team is becoming increasingly involved in training in cultural sites assessment and record keeping an integral part of managing lands in NSW.
Her role also coordinates strategic industry programs for workforce development in the wine, poultry, seed processing and production horticulture industries. Many of these programs attract funding direct from clients however I am also responsible for tracking and claiming all NSW Strategic Skills funding places that the College has approval to run.
