THIS project is central to the successful operation of the Winegrowing Futures program. It recognises the need to ensure research and extension activities lead to success in the market place.
The aim will be to maximise prospects for technical and commercial success for the NWGIC through best practice management of the operating plan and rapid implementation of the outcomes of all research theses. The impetus will be provided by a steering committee aided by expert industry advisers. They will monitor progress on activities identified in the annual operating plan.
Outputs will include the development of an active research portfolio offering information and opportunities to all sectors of the grape and wine industry.

In the final year of the operating plan the steering committee will seek agreement between the Winegrowing Futures partners on plans for further co-investment. It will also prepare terms of reference for a review of NWGIC activities at that time.
