Research Writing Support

What we do

Research candidates need high-level, discipline-specific academic writing, research literacies and related skills.

Most research candidates do not begin their candidature with all the research literacies they need. It is normal to continue to develop and refine your writing and other research skills during your candidature.

The Academic Writing Coordinator’s role is to provide support for research candidates during this process, through teaching, consultation, and resources. The main focus is on academic writing for research purposes, but also related skills such as organising information for your literature review, managing time and presenting your work at a conference. The table below summarises key resources and activities, and how you can access them.
