Professor Wilfred Carr, from the University of Sheffield in the UK, is currently visiting Charles Sturt University as a Visiting Professor. Professor Carr will be working with various members of the School of Education, and leading a number of seminars. He presented at the first Wednesday Research Seminar in the School of Education, on the topic: 'What is educational research?'

Professor Karin Ronnerman, from the University of Gothenburg will be visiting Charles Sturt University as a Visiting Professor for four weeks. In April 2009, Professor Stephen Kemmis, Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Professor Paul Burnett will meet Karin as part of the celebration of the making of Memoranda of Understanding between Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and CSU, as well as between Utrecht UAS and the University of Gothenburg, in Utrecht.
