Position Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director, Research Services with the administration of the University's research grant contracts and research consultancy contracts which includes the administration of all forms submitted to the Centre of Research & Graduate Training for University approval of research grants and contracts, consultancies as well as intellectual property disclosures and confidentiality agreements.
- Assist with data entry of information into Centre research databases including register of research grants and consultancies.
- Assist with the financial monitoring of research grants and consultancies from requesting account codes to issuing of invoices for research grants and consultancies and conducting financial checks utilising the University's Banner Finance System.
- Provide regular reports relating to the register of research grants, contracts and consultancies to the Director – Research Services.
- Work as a team member and liaise with Post Graduate Students and Academic Staff at all levels and provide feedback to the Research Finance Officer.
- Assist with the production and dissemination of the Centre of Research & Graduate Training information packages to academic staff, research centre administrative staff and post-graduate students.
- Other duties appropriate to the classification as required.
