There are a wide range of support services offered throughout the University to assist you in your candidature.  Some of these are described below.

Research Support Services

  • Methods & Data Analysis

    Qualitative and quantitative research support, including training, consultancy, data analysis, and available resources.

  • Repository & Data Storage

    Repository and data storage is available either internal to CSU or through remote services.

  • High Performance & Cloud Computing

    Many researchers use computers but desktop machines only go so far. If your overnight compute jobs run into the next day, if your research waits for a weekend to run, if your computer is limiting the progress of your research, then high performance computing (HPC) is the solution

  • Remote Computing

    Rapidly deploy and access software applications without the burden of operating your own computer servers

  • Software

    A wide variety of software is available on all CSU Desktops and additional software is available via download or through the Computer Shop.

  • Skills Enhancements

    Improve your skills through professional development workshops, seek advice on English Language Support, and improve your reading and writing in research with Research Literacy Support.

  • Collaboration & Communications

    Services include Large File Sending, CloudStor, Conferencing, Skype, Screen Sharing (Bridgit), Email, Messaging, Telephony and Fax and more.

  • Support & Resources

    Additional support available including those provided by the Division of Information Technology, Library Research Services, e-Research, Student Support Services, International Student Support as well as key links to a myriad of resources.
