Governing Committees
In association with the University's Academic Senate, a number of important committees are specifically involved in governing research and HDR programs at CSU. One critical function of these committees is to ensure that University research and academic programs and conduct comply with relevant Australian legislative and regulatory requirements. These requirements are necessarily stringent. Details of these committees and those who comprise them can be found at:
You should familiarise yourself with these committees and their respective roles and requirements with respect to your HDR candidature and research. The requirements are laid out in the University's Academic Manual, in research policies and procedures and, in the case of research ethics and safety, on the respective committee websites, which can be accessed via the ethics link provided above.
