Academic Staff RHD Workload Support Scheme

Aim:

  The purpose of the Academic Staff Research Higher Degrees Workload Support Scheme is to assist academic staff of the University to obtain a research higher degree qualification (Research Masters or PhD) or a research professional doctorate in areas of strategic importance to the institution.

The completion of a Research Higher Degree (RHD) is acknowledged as a foundational step to a productive research career. The University recognises the opportunity to support academic staff professional development through this scheme, which represents a substantial strategic investment both to improve our staff qualifications and increase research capacity within the institution.

Value
 A formal workload allocation during candidature plus, for staff enrolled in a CSU RHD program, tuition fees, student resource funds and supervision funds to the Faculty.
