Academic Staff Higher Degree by Research Workload Support Scheme (ASHDRWSS)

Aim

The purpose of the Academic Staff Higher Degree by Research Workload Support Scheme is to assist academic staff of the University to obtain a Higher Degree by Research qualification (Research Masters, PhD or Research Professional Doctorate) in areas of strategic importance to the institution.

The completion of a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) is acknowledged as a foundational step to a productive research career. The University recognises the opportunity to support eligible academic staff professional development through this scheme, which represents a substantial strategic investment both to improve our staff qualifications and increase research capacity within the institution.

Value

A formal workload allocation during candidature,  plus for staff enrolled in a CSU HDR program: tuition fee support, HDR Student Resource funding and supervision funds to the Faculty.
