Your Privacy
Data must be collected and maintained in accordance with the information privacy principles that form part of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Data collected as part of the Transparent Costing survey will not be used for any other purpose. However, the survey is NOT confidential as responses must be tracked to ensure that:
- The required response rate is achieved; and
- Demographics can be associated with each response to ensure similar response rates across different demographic groups.
- to allow quality assurance to be undertaken by DIISR
Accordingly, staff ID numbers will be used to track individual responses. Survey response data will only be available to survey staff and will be held on a confidential basis.
The survey will be administered by staff from the Division of Human Resources only.
All survey data reported to the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research will be de-identified to maintain maximum confidentiality.
