The Faculty of Arts and Education incorporates a diverse range of disciplines including performing and visual arts, communication, social work and human services, policing and law enforcement, theology, Islamic studies, psychology and humanities. The faculty was founded in 1990 following the establishment of the university, and has a presence on campuses in Albury, Bathurst, Wagga Wagga, Goulburn, Canberra, Dubbo, Port Macquarie, Manly and Parramatta. In 2012, the faculty had over 10,000 students and approximately 250 staff.

Drawing from the breadth of its disciplines, the faculty offers a wide range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, both on campus and by distance education. We are proud to offer excellent generalist courses in the humanities and social sciences as well as professional courses with strong industry links and opportunities for professional placement.
The Faculty of Arts and Education' police education programs, developed in collaboration with NSW Police and offered at the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn, have seen CSU become a leading provider of policing and law enforcement education.
The faculty offers a wide range of postgraduate research courses which are relevant to professional and vocational needs, and we are closely linked with research centres in Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics, Excellence in Policing and Security, and Public and Contextual Theology.
Located in Wagga Wagga, the Faculty Office provides academic leadership and management of the faculty, including strategic planning, management of information and human and financial resources, as well as the provision of effective and efficient administrative and support services.
