Jonathon Howard's teaching and research focuses on water and society - including how people value and use water, and how it is managed. His research has ranged from evaluations of Phoswatch and River Tender to fairness and game theory in regional governance processes. He is currently a Ministerial appointee to the Murray Catchment Authority and chairs its Community and Implementation Committee. He is also a member of the Murray Wetlands Working group and on the Executive of the Australian Association for Environmental Education. He has won several Landcare awards for his work within government agencies.
