Qualifications Pathways
There are usually several pathways that can be taken to reach a qualification level needed for a job along the career path. Below, a diagrammatic representation is provided to help you decide a particular route or to see the way forward from your current situation. If in any doubt always consult the institution with which you would like to study.
An initial qualification will help you move into a particular career path. All careers often require ongoing training (eg pesticide handling, OHS, financial management or supervisory training) as part of the position, or may require further study to advance along the career path. Continuing vocational training to move along or between career paths can be acquired from Vocational Education and Training (VET) or University providers.
