In particular, we asked for presentations in the following areas:

Frameworks – there are others apart from Zachman, e.g. FEAF, TOGAF, and Gartner models. Have you looked at others? Can you provide advice on the differences, strengths, weaknesses of frameworks?
Consultancy – what has been your approach to using consultants for EA? How has it worked?
The business view – you’re talking EA – what are they seeing?
Models for moderating bespoke development, i.e. once you consolidate, how do you ‘disincentivise’ the ‘fiddling at the edges’ developments of little apps on little servers?
External hosting – i.e. providing hosting services to third parties – I believe Adelaide University do – and whether this has impacted their capacity to do architecture well (positively or negatively)?
Other triggers – what models have you used that have been effective? What software/tools have you used that been effective? How did you get traction? What ‘low-hanging fruit’ / quick wins did you identify? How did you / are you convincing your senior executive?
