Review of Faculty and Schools Administrative Structures & Arrangements
Welcome
Welcome to the Review of Faculty and School Administrative Structures and Arrangements. Through this site you will find information relating to the review and a forum for you to voice your opinions and suggestions.
Background
In 2006 the University committed to a Review of Faculty and School Administrative Structures and Arrangements. This commitment resulted from a number of factors:
- The restructure of the Faculties to align with the University Strategy 2007-2011, which resulted in the movement of many general staff to new Faculties and Schools;
- Changes to the Divisions that have resulted in new or different service provision that impact on or change the work of the Faculties;
- The requirement that the Faculties and Schools organise their work differently to achieve agreed performance targets and outcomes contained in the University Strategy 2007-2011;
- The identification of processes that require improvement at the level of the Faculties and Schools emerging from Stage 1 of the Work Process Improvement (WPI) project;
- The report from the Professional Experience Network (PEN) which identified the need for greater consistency of roles, responsibilities and HEW classifications for administrative staff supporting practicum placements; and
- The results of the 2006 Climate Survey which highlighted professional development and career opportunities as issues requiring consideration for general staff at CSU.
