India Study Abroad Centre (ISAC) Fellowship
One of CSU Global's excellent program providers - India Study Abroad Centre (ISAC) - has just introduced a fellowship program for 2012. ISAC’s mission is to create programs with long-term benefits to both participants and host communities.
The ISAC Fellows program will allow an ISAC fellow to participate in one of its exeptional programs at virtually no cost to the selected participant besides airfare and a very nominal administration fee. ISAC will bear all in-country costs of selected participants including placement, accommodation, meals and other local support provided in our standard programs.
ISAC's February 2012 fellowship will be based in the desert state of Rajasthan and it entails working with Educate Girls, an award winning NGO that seeks to reform girls’ education in some of the most backward, gender-gap districts of rural India.
The ISAC fellowship is a 6 week program and the selected fellow can help in areas such as documentation, research, communications, data analysis, MIS or any other area that they believe will make a contribution to the organization’s objectives.
If you have exceptional skills, social awareness and a burning desire to participate in the creation of social impact for some of the most underserved communities in the world you should apply for this fellowship.
If you are interested in this opportunity or wish to nominate an exceptional candidate please write to hansal@indiastudyabroad.org before December 7th, 2011 to request an application form. Please mark the subject of your email as “ISAC Fellows - Rajasthan”.
Visit the ISAC website for further information.
Vets Beyond Borders (VBB) is an Australian-based, not-for-profit, incorporated organisation established by veterinary volunteers in 2003. It co-ordinates and runs veterinary based animal welfare and public health programs in developing communities of the Asia and Pacific region.
Working as a volunteer for VBB is a great opportunity to use your skills in a way that truly benefits animals and communities. Whether you are a veterinary professional looking to work in a VBB project overseas or someone with other skills that will help build VBB as an organisation, we need your help.
Don't forget, if you can incorporate your volunteering into your study program and receive credit for it CSU Global may be able to offer you a $500 travel grant.
