Families
There are various ways that families can become involved in the centre. The children enjoy sharing their centre with their family. We encourage parents to coordinate participation opportunities with staff.
Murray Children's Centre Management Committee has 3 positions for Parent Representatives who are elected at the AGM in March. Parents are encouraged to seek nomination if they are interested in becoming a Representative. Committee Meetings are held monthly.
Fundraising is an important way that parents can become involved. The centre holds several fundraising activities during the year and parent input is always welcome.
We try to offer several Social Functions during the year to enable families to get to know each other and the staff in an informal way. BBQ's, Family nights with Guest Performers (Such as the Reptile Man) and our Annual End of Year Picnic are just a few of the ways we get together.
If you have any special interests, talents or ideas that you feel could benefit the children, staff or the centre, please speak to the Director, we are always looking at new ways to involve the families in the centre.
