The staff and Committee of Murray Children's Centre would like to welcome you to our Long Day Care Centre. We are a Community based Child Care Centre, based on the Charles Sturt University, Albury Campus. We provide care to the children of staff, students and the general community.
The centre has been operating since March 1995 and is licensed by the Department of Community Services (DoCS). The centre has a Management Committee made up of staff from the University and parents/carers of children attending the centre.
The centre aims to create an intimate, warm and friendly atmosphere in which children can feel relaxed and at home in these surroundings. We also aim to make parents/carers feel relaxed as well; we have an "Open Door" policy, which means we are happy for you to join your child during the day. Some parents like to have lunch with their child whenever they can, others like to come and celebrate their child's birthday with a cake for afternoon tea, others simply pop in to say hello if they are passing by.
