CSU Welcomes International Research Student (01/09/06)

Charles Sturt University has welcomed Swedish international student Jenny Granmyr who has undertaken an overseas research elective at CSU’s Wagga Wagga Campus.

Jenny is a Pharmacy student from the University of Uppsala in Sweden, choosing to study in Wagga Wagga until December this year. Currently in the 5th year of her degree, she is working on a project which is looking into the management of patients with high blood pressure in the Wagga Wagga area.

Importance of Rural Pharmacy Reinforced at the Annual Charles Sturt Foundation Dinner (01/08/06)

Regional pharmacists and industry bodies demonstrated their commitment to rural pharmacy education at the Annual Charles Sturt Pharmacy Foundation Dinner which was held on the 15 th of July.

The Dinner, which aims to increase the awareness of Charles Sturt University 's (CSU) pharmacy programme and foster relationships with industry groups, was also attended by the University's Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Goulter .

$50,000 support for CSU pharmacy students (01/08/06)

Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API) has announced a $50,000 commitment to the Charles Sturt Pharmacy Foundation at a recent function held on Charles Sturt University 's (CSU) Wagga Wagga Campus.

The funds are being offered to support students studying the Pharmacy Course at CSU, providing $10,000 per year to sponsor CSU's Retail Management programme and rewarding the most outstanding student in this component of the Charles Sturt Pharmacy Programme.
