Developing TSISL

A team of UNSW educationists supported by a librarian web editor/co-ordinator, developed and delivered a largely distance-learning pilot library staff development program attracting enthusiastic participants Australia-wide.

For the staff development co-ordinator, grant funding underwrote a successful exploration of the possibilities implicit in the application of web technology to professional development for library staff. The paper explores issues raised in the development of and participation in the pilot of the course.
