Delivering Reference Services to Users Outside the Library.

Physical access to a library is becoming less important as the internet becomes more pervasive as a source of information to end users. Reference services are still required to help people locate information effectively .This paper addresses the issues and practicalities that are involved for libraries that want to provide a "point of need" reference service to users outside the library.
