Carmel Ryan - Piano/Keyboard, Accompanist

Carmel is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and has over 30 years of teaching experience. Carmel teaches at the Riverina Conservatorium, and as part of the RCM Outreach program, she has students at Kildare Catholic College, Mater Dei Catholic College and small group lessons at Wagga Wagga public school in the keyboard laboratory.

Carmel enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels, and prepares them for examinations if required. She develops the confidence of her students by encouraging them to perform in student recitals/concerts, eisteddfodau or simply just for friends and family.

As well as teaching, Carmel loves to accompany instrumental students at concerts, eisteddfodau, AMEB and Trinity Examinations, HSC and other performances that may arise. She appears regularly as associate artist with her colleagues in the Concert series. Carmel is also official accompanist for the Wagga Wagga eisteddfod and the community choir, Wollundry Singers.
