Tracy Gunn - Euphonium, Tuba, Trombone, Horn

Tracy is a native of Melbourne who started playing euphonium, her principal instrument, in 1977 and completed her A.Mus.A. in 1982. She completed her Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education at the University of Melbourne, studying under renowned tubist Ian King and later completed her Master of Arts in Public History at Monash University.

Tracy was employed by the Victorian Education Department from 1987-2007 as a brass teacher and ensemble director in a range of schools and also as a Regional Instrumental Music Co-ordinator. She has performed as an instrumentalist, singer and conductor with various community groups and served on the Victorian Bands' League Music Advisory Board. Tracy has been a committee member and President of the Australian Band and Orchestra Directors' Association (Victoria), and also was editor of their journal 'Interlude'. She has performed as a musician with the Army Reserve since 1986
