Wayne Pigram - Drums & Percussion

Wayne has played drums in Sydney for 25 years since leaving Wagga in the early 1980s. In that time Wayne studied and played with numerous musicians including; Lloyd Swanton (The Necks), Klaus Bussman (Glenn Shorrock, Doug Parkinson) and Michael King (Wendy Mathews). He has had an ongoing relationship with producer Tim Winton (Powderfinger) as a member of original bands Ha Ha Ha, Edot and Signal Room. Other drumming credits include corporate work for Kodak, VISA Corporation, Fosters and Heineken touring South East Asia with the dance collective Kix Interactive.

Wayne is best known for his work as an actor having over forty professional theatre credits with companies such as The Sydney Theatre Co (Corialanus, King Lear, Trackers of Oxyrynchus, Anthony & Cleopatra & Solitary Animals), Belvoir St Theatre (Drums of Thunder & The Threepenny Opera), Griffin Theatre Co (Nailed, Sharon Lilly Screwdriver), Nimrod (All's Well That Ends Well, The Merchant of Venice, The Irrisistable Rise of Arturo Ui). Wayne also has over fifty film & television credits including regular lead roles in Fire and four seasons and two tele-movies on the Jim Henson Sci Fi series Farscape. Guest roles include Lost, My Place, A Country Practice, All Saints, Water Rats, Stingers, Murder Call & Medivac. Feature films include Doing Time for Patsy Cline, Star Wars-Revenge of the Sith, Return to Blue Lagoon & Farewell to the King.

Wayne lived and worked in Los Angeles for three years prior to returning to reside in Wagga following the birth of his son in 2007. Wayne can be seen shortly in the new series of Underbelly - The Golden Mile.
