The New 2010 Academic Calendar
Faculty of Arts
The Faculty of Arts has informed the Implementation Project that it will:
- School of Policing will use the International Programs Calendar for ADPP on Goulburn campus; Social Work practicum subjects will be scheduled in S3;
- Current DE Summer Semester subjects will be transferred over to Session 3;
- There will be a progressive increase in the number of subjects available for DE study in Session 3.
Details on subjects available in Session 3 for 2010, will be made available during 2009 via this web site.
Faculty of Business
The Faculty of Business has informed the Implementation Project that it will:
- progressively offer, from 2010 on, subjects in distance mode across all 3 sessions;
- offer subjects in face to face (internal) mode on the main campuses in Sessions 1 and 2 only in 2010;
- permit Internal students to study subjects in Session 3 via distance mode to catch up or accelerate their studies;
- offer subjects in face to face mode on Study Centre's in Sydney and Melbourne across all 3 Sessions in 2010;
- transfer subjects taught under the current Trimester calendar to the new academic calendar in 2010;
- Consideration is being given to offer students the option of taking subjects in 201010 due to the gap between the last trimester of 2009 (200979) and the first session in 2010 (201030).

Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education has informed the Implementation Project that it will:
- continue to offer on campus (internal) teacher education courses in 2 sessions (Sessions 1 and 2) per year only;
- expand the offer of information studies subjects offered in Session 3 via distance mode from 2010 on;
- Practicum subjects in general have been identified for potential scheduling in S3 but as an extension of enrolments in S2; new middle school degree is possible user of S3; and BEd(TAS) Industry Entry Program will use S3 from 2010;
- Current DE Summer semester subjects will be transferred over to Session 3;
- There will be a progressive increase in the number of subjects available for DE study in Session 3.

Faculty of Science
The Faculty of Science has informed the Implementation Project that:
- Current DE Summer Semester subjects will be transferred over to Session 3;
- There will be a progressive increase in the number of subjects available for DE study in Session 3. It is expected that these will normally be subjects without residential schools;
- For the foreseeable future, subjects offered in face to face (internal) mode will only be offered in Sessions 1 and 2;
- Practicum subjects in general have been identified for potential scheduling in S3.
