2010 Academic Calendar Update – May 2009

After considerable investigation and consultation during 2007 and 2008, CSU late last year decided to introduce a new academic calendar for 2010.

This new calendar will reduce the complexity of CSU’s existing calendar and provide greater flexibility for students in the future.  The changes to the academic calendar in 2010 will affect students differently depending on your mode of study.  Therefore a number of information papers have been produced to explain the changes that are being introduced and how this will affect you.

Student Newsletter – Summary 1.37MB [.RTF]: Provides a brief overview of the changes to the 2010 Academic Calendar and which calendar you will likely be enrolled in.

Student Newsletter – Detailed 1.37MB [.RTF]: Provides the same overview as the summary letter but also provides further details relating to the duration of sessions, breaks and so on.

Student Newsletter – School of Policing Studies [ 85kb .PDF]: Provides specific information for those students enrolled in the Associate Degree in Policing Practice (ADPP) in the School of Policing Studies.

If you still have questions after reading the relevant information paper, please contact your student representative or CSU staff member.
