Studying with CSU
at the NSW Police College

The NSW Police College offers students the opportunity to study the ADPP in an environment that has been specifically tailored to the unique requirements of learning policing as a career. This page of the website provides you with an overview of facilities and activities on campus.

The teaching facilities at the NSW Police College allow for a range of practical training and scenario work. There are standard lecture theatres similar to those you would find on a mainstream university campus, as well as smaller rooms for tutorial work.

Resources available at the college include teaching, computer and library facilities.

The College's Health Services Section is staffed by registered nurses with post-graduate qualifications and experience in different specialties.

Students enrolled in all Charles Sturt University courses are responsible for their own actions. This includes study, discipline, the submission of assignments and attending classes on time.

The College has strict rules relating to dress and these have been developed to ensure both the professional appearance of students and to ensure their safety during physical training and other day to day activities that are part of their studies.

The NSW Police College's residential capacity for Associate Degree in Policing Practice students is limited, and can sometimes fall short of anticipated enrolments.

It is recommended that you investigate the option of living on-campus as there are benefits to living and learning in a policing environment. However, you need to be prepared that there may be circumstances where living on campus is not an option. Alternative arrangements can then be sourced through private accommodation available in the City of Goulburn details of which can be obtained by contacting Accommodation Services on (02) 4828 8572

A list of commercial accommodation providers is outlined on this website as a courtesy for visitors to the college.

On-campus accommodation is provided at the NSW Police Force College at Goulburn at a cost of $100 per week, which includes meals (seven days a week).
