The objective of the Associate Degree in Policing Practice (ADPP) is to give students an understanding of the why's of policing, not just the how to's. It is a fully accredited and nationally recognised tertiary award and can be used to obtain an advanced standing or credit in other relevant courses.

The course is designed to provide an ideal combination of hands-on practice and theory and is offered under an agreement between CSU and the NSW Police Force.

The Associate Degree in Policing Practice is studied over approximately two years depending on the study pathway chosen.

The University has campuses located in Wagga Wagga, Albury-Wodonga, Dubbo, Bathurst and Orange, as well as specialised campuses at Manly, Canberra, Goulburn and North Parramatta, and has more than 36 000 students. Students in the Associate Degree in Policing Practice will undertake their studies at the Goulburn Police College .
