Foundation Scholarships
Going to University gives students a rare opportunity to expand their horizons and enjoy the life benefits of a higher education. However, not all students with the capacity to enrol in University have the same opportunity due to their financial circumstances. The out of pocket costs of going to University mean that many capable students (particularly rural, remote, Indigenous and low income students) do not get the same chance to go to University.
Scholarships assist students in need to meet some of the out of pocket costs of going to University (such as support with purchasing books, accommodation, and living expenses) to extend the opportunity of higher education to all capable students.
The Charles Sturt University Foundation Trust currently distributes more than 200 student scholarships every year. Many of these scholarships are provided through the donations of individuals and organisations who hold a strong belief in supporting Charles Sturt University and its students.
Whether you are a current student of Charles Sturt University or considering attending the University in the near future, a scholarship offered through the Charles Sturt University Foundation may help you achieve your study goals by assisting you to concentrate on your academic performance. Scholarships may also open doors to potential future employment.
