How to Apply
Applications for 2012 will open 10 October 2011.
Applications for Charles Sturt University Foundation scholarships must be submitted on-line.

Check under the specific campus where you are enrolled to ensure there are scholarships for which you are eligible to apply.

Other Scholarships
Before you start your application have these items ready
o You may experience problems with the server timing out if you type your answers directly into the online application. If this happens your application will not be recieved and you will be redirected to the beginning.
o You should have the answers to these in a text document ready to cut and paste into the appropriate fields of the online application.
o A resume in . pdf or. doc format ready to attach to application, please note that .docx files are currently not supported.
o A scanned copy of your ATAR results (if you are a school leaver within the last two years) (International equivalent can also be attached in place of ATAR)
o If your selection criteria involves Local Government Areas, please scan your supporting documents, these can be one of the following; Electricity / Phone bills, Rates Notice or School Record.
o Hardship/Disability Form if you are applying for a scholarship that lists hardship as one of the criteria
o You will be asked three standard questions (Maximum of 350 words per Question):
- Regional Involvement
Outline your involvement within your local regional community and highlight any particular contributions you have made.
- Achievement
What do you perceive to be your greatest achievement and why?
- Career Interest (Custom essay question can be answered in place of this question)
What are your career goals and aspirations? (Highlight your motivations or commitment to working in rural or regional areas.)
o A pen to write down your Application ID number for your reference. If you do not receive an ID number contact scholarships@csu.edu.au as it may not have been received. Alternatively if you have this number it means that we have recieved your application and it will be processed, please do not contact the office to confirm.
o At the end of the submission process you wil be given an Application ID which should be included on any additional pages that you email.
o All students will be notified by email of the outcome of their scholarship application. This will generally begin at the end of March.
