17th October: Final Exams begin

28th October: Semester 2 and exams end

29th October: All accommodation to be vacated by 10am

23rd December 2pm: Final date to notify cancellation of accommodation without penalty.

2pm 23rd December - 4pm 1st February: If you cancel accommodation you will forfeit your $200 Loyalty Rebate and be required to pay a $200 Cancellation Fee.

After 4pm 1st February: If you cancel your accommodation you will forfeit your Loyalty Rebate and be required to pay 4 weeks rent ($727) as a cancellation Fee.

Ultimate Frisbee Grandfinal

Marties won this year's CSU Residences ultimate frisbee competition 6-5
after an amazing game in strong winds against Townies.
Both teams played a great game.

Congratulations to the Boys from St Francis College and St Martin's College on an excellent match for the Saints Cup decider. The winners were Marties - but it was close and a great game played by all

Wildlife at St Martin's

Wildlife abounds at St Martin's and this is not a reference to college BBQs and parties! The grounds of the college (and the university campus in general) are home to an amazing variety of animals. We keep a bird list for the college and we need students to help keep the list up to date. There is a procedure for dealing with snakes that all students should read. Copies of the the snake procedure are also posted in each cottage.

Weather at St Martin's

The college has lots of interesting weather from winter frosts to blistering 40 degree days in summer. From October thunderstorms are common and often severe so students should make sure their computers are unplugged during storms. In recent years that has not been much rain. We have a rain gauge to keep track of what little there has been!
