Skills for Learning Online - SSS003DescriptionThe purpose of this subject is to assist students who are new to the University's online learning environment - CSU Interact, or who are looking for an avenue to develop their proficiency as they participate with other students in an online learning environment. This is a fully online and self-paced program that is learner-centred, comprising individual self-study, online instructor support and student discussion and interaction. It is expected that at least 20 hours of personal study will be required to complete the subject satisfactorily. Please note: This subject is available to international students studying offshore. The fee from and including Trimester 1 2009 (session 200919) is $70. The subject is the equivalent of approximately 13 hours study, although students may work through it at their own pace. As this subject is delivered online (ie. via the computer) students must have Internet access. Students will also receive introductory printed materials to assist in accessing the online materials.
