"I am a mature age student about to start my Bachelor of Applied Science (Parks, Recreation and Heritage) degree. I decided to do some Study Link subjects to better prepare me for university study as a Distance Education student.
The four subjects I chose were: Transition to Tertiary Study, Academic Skills Development, Skills for Learning Online and English Skills for Academic Writing. I am very pleased that I took these subjects prior to commencing my degree. I would have struggled with skills like reading for academic study and searching online for quality information.
