Mathematics for Calculus- SSS009

Description

This subject will provide students with the necessary skills to successfully attempt subjects such as Introductory Mathematics (MTH105) and Computer Aided Mathematics with Applications (MTH101). Any student about to study these subjects who does not have a pass in HSC/VCE mathematics involving calculus or equivalent pass in mathematics is recommended to do this subject.

Topics covered: calculator skills, fractions, signed numbers, algebra, functions and graphing and an introduction to calculus.

Students can study this subject by attending a three-day workshop offered at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst (internal mode) or by distance education mode requiring approximately 26 hours of individual study time.
